Pauline C. (Tully) Bolger

Pauline C. (Tully) Bolger, of Boston, age 101, died on November 19, 2019.  The beloved wife of 60 years to the late Vincent A Bolger. Born in Boston and raised in Quincy, Pauline was a 1936 Quincy High School graduate of Quincy Public Schools system. She entered the United States Navy in 1943 serving in W.W.II  with her brothers Arthur and Edward Gerstel.

Following her military service, Pauline was employed at M.I.T, office of the Registrar. She was the daughter of the late Caroline and Arthur Gerstel and sister of the late Arthur W. Gerstel & Edward R. Gerstel. She was a dedicated member of many conservation organizations with her husband Vincent. A charter member of the USS Constitution Museum.

Pauline is survived by her sister Norma Powers, her godsons Mark Gerstel, James Powers, Brian Powers and Joseph Fleming and dearly loved nieces and nephews.  Pauline loved “HER” City of Boston and was very patriotic. She loved our country. She was a loving and generous daughter, sister, wife, aunt and godmother. Pauline and her sister Norma had a very special relationship that was cherished by them.

Services were private. Burial was held in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery.
