Pauline A. Monaco

Monaco, Pauline A. (DiTullio) of Cohasset, formally of Quincy died April 27, 2015 at home surrounded by her family. 

Pauline was born in Quincy and grew up in Dorchester and spent many of her summers in Green Harbor.   She later moved back to Quincy to raise her family, eventually settling in Cohasset.  She graduated from Jeremiah E. Burke High School and attended Lasell College where she received her Associates Degree.  Pauline worked as an insurance broker before devoting her time to raising her family.  She found her greatest joy when her home was filled with her family and friends that she loved.   Pauline was an extremely thoughtful person who will be remembered for her energetic spirit, kindness and wisdom.  Her main passion was the love of her family and spending time with them especially her grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. 

Pre-deceased by the love of her life Mario J. Monaco.  Beloved mother of Anthony Monaco of Cohasset, Stephen Monaco and his wife Cheryl of Pembroke, Andrea Katz and her husband Michael of Hingham and Rosemarie Monaco-Goolgasian and her husband Jeffrey Goolgasian of Scituate.  Devoted Nana of Stephen, Danielle, Christina, Nicholas, Shara and Marisa. Great Grandmother of Louie.  Caring sister of the late Clare Marchionne and Robert DiTullio, MD.  Sister in law to Norma DiTullio of Cohasset and the late Albert Marchionne.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Anthony’s Church, Cohasset at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
