Carlson, Paula A. (Smith) of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, June 12, 2008. Beloved mother of Karla Carlson of CA. Loving daughter of the late Robert Smith. Daughter of Pauline (Mulvaney) Smith of Quincy. Sister of Linda Smith-Mooney and her husband Robert of Quincy, Laura Smith and her husband Eric Thomson of CA, and the late Bobby Smith. Aunt of Robert Mooney and Milynda Mooney, both of Quincy. Former wife of Donald Carlson of Weymouth. Paula’s daughter Karla gave her the most enjoyment in her life. She also loved to travel, jog, read, ski and crochet. Her dedication to nursing inspired Karla to become a nurse. Paula was loyal, nurturing and a very giving person who cared for others. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Service in First Church of Squantum at 10 AM. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
