Paul E. Wiencko

Paul Wiencko was born March 2, 1959 to Florence and Edward Wiencko of Dorchester. Paul passed away on January 14. He served in the Air Force in Germany as an aircraft mechanic. He has worked for the Post Office for 40 years. He was well respected by his coworkers. He was in Building Maintenance at South Station Post Office and knew how to fix the problems that occurred. Paul loved Savin Hill and lived there his entire life. He was an incredible care giver to his Mother. He showed so much love and patience. 

Paul had 3 siblings; BettyAnn, Peter, who died this past April, and Eddie. Paul had 7 nieces and nephews, 15 great and 2 great-great. He enjoyed family get togethers. He was always the designated driver for his Mom. So many good memories for us all.

When he wasn’t at home or in the backyard he went to his favorite place, the Savin Hill Yacht Club. He enjoyed sailing and fishing and hanging out with his friends. We all miss him. Paul was a big part of our lives.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 11:30 AM -1:00 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A funeral service will be celebrated immediately following the visiting hours at 1:00 PM.
