Paul W. Cassidy

Paul W. Cassidy of Weymouth, passed away on August 18, 2023. He was 81 years old.

Born in Boston he was the son of the late George and Anna Cassidy. He was a graduate of Don Bosco High School and attended The University of Alaska. Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He was a trades specialist at Polaroid for 40 years as well as a member of the auxiliary Coast Guard for 20 years. Paul was an avid boater, enjoyed vacations on the cape and made custom furniture and carving of any kind. 

Beloved husband of Deborah Cassidy (Noonan) of Weymouth. Loving father of Eryka Cassidy of Littleton CO. and Joanna Cassidy and her fiancé Matthew Weddleton of Seffner FL. Dear brother of John Cassidy of FL, Edward Cassidy of Needham, William Cassidy, Patricia McGowan of Weymouth and Susan Bonovita of Quincy.

Paul will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18 opp. South Shore Hospital) , Weymouth. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul may be made to No Veteran Buried Alone at The American Legion Department of Massachusetts, State House Room 546-2, Boston MA. 02133.
