Paul R. Sisson, 72, of Weymouth MA passed away on March 13, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. His loving wife, of 50 years, was by his side as he peacefully passed to be with the Lord.
Paul was a member of the IBEW Local 103 for 50 years, 30 years of which was spent as an electrician with the MBTA. His commitment to the elctrical trade extended beyond his professinal work as he also served as a JATC electrical teacher for Local 103 as well as the Wentworth Institiute of Technology, imparting his knowledge to future generations. In his spare time between jobs and family life he also coached several of his sons’ soccer teams and served as a member of the board of Weymouth Youth Soccer.
Paul was a dedicated family man who worked tirelessly to provide for them. He treasured time spent with his wife and his children who he took great pride in and especially his grandchildren who held a cherished place in his heart.
Paul indulged in his love of music, traveling with his wife, trips with his family and an avid fan of the Bruins, Patriots, Celtics and especially the Red Sox. For years he made an annual pilgrimage to spring training with his brother-in-laws.
Paul’s passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy will endure in the countless lives he touched through his work, teaching and kindness. His unwavering love and support will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
