Deane, Paul R. of Quincy, December 16, 2004. Beloved son of Mary (Lyons) of Quincy and the late Thomas J. Deane, Sr. Former husband of the late Concetta M. (Vento). Loving father of Paul J., Joseph T. and his wife Karen, all of Weymouth and Catherine M. & her husband Robert Burge of Quincy. Brother of Maryellen Rose of Rockland, Priscilla Jarvis of CT, Carol Seltzer of Quincy, Dorothy Belcher of FL, Marilyn Sullivan of FL, Barbara McGovern of Weymouth, Edward Deane and the late Virginia Keane and Thomas J. Deane, Jr. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many nieces and nephews, with special thanks to Catherine Vento for all her care and love. Paul was a big sports fan. He enjoyed football and was a loyal participant to the “Humble One” football contest in the Patriot Ledger. He was a strong friend to organized labor and was a very patriotic man.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the North Quincy Keohane Funeral Home 333 Hancock St., NORTH QUINCY Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
