Paul P. Emerick

Emerick, Paul P. of Hingham, passed away August 9, 2010 at the age of 91. Beloved husband of the late Linnet (Pelosi) Emerick. Loving father of Joan Young and her husband David of Marshfield, Lucille Delaney and her husband Stephen of Carver, and Paul D. Emerick and his wife Elaine of Marshfield. Grandfather of Christopher Young and his wife Mary, Gregory Young, Jeffrey Young, Tara Fisher and her husband Dennis, Lisa Chernin and her husband Peter, and Ryan Delaney. Great grandfather of Sarah, John, Marykate, Megan, Sean, Jude, and Lane. Mr. Emerick attended the Coast Guard Academy and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as safety director and engineered the move of the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston in the late 1970’s. He enjoyed sailing, camping, cooking and entertaining. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Friday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, 1057 Main St., Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
