Paul K. Collins

Paul K. Collins of Weymouth, died August 8, 2016 at the age of 69.

Paul served in the U.S. Army, completing two tours of duty in Vietnam as a sergeant and machine gunner. He received a Bronze Star for heroism above and beyond the call of duty.  He served in the First Cavalry. For over 25 years, he worked as a firefighter for the town of Brookline, retiring in 2005 and was presented “Firefighter of the Year” for his heroism in evacuating a burning building while he was off duty.

Beloved husband of Jeanne (LaMontagne) Collins. Loving father of Bryan P. Collins and wife Lori of Alexandria, VA. Devoted “Da” to Erin, Samantha and Sean Collins. Brother of Robert Collins of CA, Priscilla Collins of S. Boston, and the late Stephen Collins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15 PM.
