Paul Gerard Mcgrath Jr.

McGrath, Paul Gerard, Jr., 62, of Braintree, died October 7, 2022, after a brief illness.

Born in Dorchester, Paul was the beloved son of the late Paul and Winifred (Fallon) McGrath. Paul was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all Boston teams, especially the Red Sox. Paul worked for many years in Information Technology and will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Paul was the loving brother to Ann McGrath of Braintree, Mary McDavitt of Cambridge, Peggie McGrath of Braintree, Kathy McGrath and her fiancé Mike Colon of Braintree, and Brian McGrath and his wife Rita of Braintree. He was the devoted uncle to Philip McDavitt and his wife Erica, Fallon Nickerson and her husband Lucas, Delia McGrath and Leo McGrath. He was also the great-uncle to Tommy and Claire McDavitt.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 9:15 AM. Mass to be held at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Paul may be made to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
