Paul Edward Shea

 Shea, Paul Edward of Weymouth, died August 13, 2016.  

Paul’s family was the essence of his life and the foundation of all that was truly important to him.  Paul proudly served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean war.  Always giving to others, Paul was an Organ Donor and will continue to help those in need.  He was a man of strong faith and volunteered his time as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Francis Xavier Church along with volunteering at the Weymouth Food Pantry and many other local charities.  In his earlier years, Paul coached Little League, which strengthened his love for baseball.  Paul will be sadly missed but never forgotten. 

Beloved husband of 55 years to Anita Shea (Medlar) of Weymouth. Loving father of A.Kevin Shea of Brockton and his wife Norma, Dave Shea and his wife Holly of Dighton, Ann Blair and her husband Kirk of Tolland, CT, John Shea and his wife Melissa of Plymouth, Maria Jankowski of Plymouth and Patrick Shea and his wife Cheryl of Plymouth.  Cherished Da of 15 grandchildren.  Devoted son of the late Ambrose and Mary Shea.  Caring brother of the late Jean Smart and John Shea.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
