Larvey, Paul E. of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester passed away March 30, 2011. Beloved husband of Lorraine P. “Pat” Larvey of Quincy. Loving father of Paula McDonald of Quincy. Devoted “Gramp” of Cheryl Egan of Weymouth, Brian Egan of Weymouth, Thomas McDonald of Foxboro, Robert and Kristen McDonald both of Quincy. Great “Gramp” of Scott, Ashley, Felicia, Derek, Keri Ann and Julia. Great-great “Gramp” of Ashlynne Rose. Paul was born in Boston and grew up in Dorchester before settling in Quincy where he lived since 1965. Paul worked as a purchasing agent for the Federal Reserve in Boston for 35 years before retiring in 1985. Paul enjoyed traveling and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. Paul was a eucharistic minister at St. Ann’s Church and Quincy Medical Center for over 20 years. Most of all Paul loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a very generous man; he will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. WWII Army Veteran. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.Donations in memory of Paul may be made to Hopefound Shattuck, 170 Morton St. Jamaica Plain, MA 02130.
