Paul Andrew Dillon of East Boston, died peacefully at home on Saturday, January 25, 2025. He was 57 years old.
Paul was born in Boston and raised in Hingham. He attended St. Paul school, and Quincy Vocational Technical High School, where he studied Plumbing, graduating with the class of 1985.
Paul served his country in the Marines. Graduating Parris Island in 1987. After completing his service, he started a long career in the electrical trade, joining IBEW local 103 in Boston. Paul also worked as an electrician internationally, as a civilian, for several US contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It was during this time abroad that he travelled to Thailand for the first time. On one fateful trip, he met the love of his life, Khing. Paul and Khing were married in September, 2012. Paul built a house in Thailand and he and Khing welcomed a daughter, Emma, in 2013.
Paul is survived by his cherished daughter, Emma Grace Dillon, and his beloved step-daughter Laksanaree Laononkrow. He is predeceased by his wife, Thawanrat (Khing) Dillon, his parents; Robert E. and Mary T Dillon, and his brother Bob Dillon.
Paul was the beloved brother of Peggy Jones and her late husband Mark, Nancy Stauff and her husband Ray, Mary Lou Tanner and her husband Micahel, Jim Dillon, Karen Lincoln and her husband Jeff, Matt Dillon and his wife Paula, Maureen McNulty and her husband Tom, Kevin Dillon and his late wife Lisa, Betsy Sullivan and her husband Larry, Michael Dillon and his wife Carol, Amy Lagomarsino and her husband Jeremy, and Joe Dillon. Paul is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and their families.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday, February 3, 2025, 4-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, Hingham at 10 AM.
Services will conclude with interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
