Paul C. Curran, a beloved husband, son and brother, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, surrounded by love after a long courageous battle with a Glioblastoma. Born on August 12, 1964, Paul exemplified hard work, bravery, and a gentle spirit throughout his life.
After graduating from Weymouth High School, where he pursued carpentry through the vocational program, Paul joined the Carpenters Union at Local 346. He dedicated many years of his career to working with the Quincy Housing Authority, where his craftsmanship and dedication made a significant impact. For the past 15 years, he found his true passion in teaching carpentry to at-risk youth at Training Resources of America. He took immense pride in watching his students graduate, often reflecting on their words of gratitude – “I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Paul." His commitment to helping others succeed will forever be remembered, as he never gave up on his students and was devoted to passing on his knowledge and skills.
In his personal life, Paul was happiest at home with his beloved wife, Michelle. They shared a deep bond that began in high school and was reignited later in life, culminating in a marriage that blossomed over 19 beautiful years. Paul took great pride in the home they built together, creating a lifetime of memories enriched with love and companionship. His romantic escapades to Mohegan Sun with Michelle were among his fondest moments, showcasing the joy they found in each other's company.
Paul's personality shone brightly through his gentle humor and hardworking nature. Even during his illness, he remained focused on the well-being of his loved ones rather than his own struggles. His resilience and ability to make others smile earned him a special place in the hearts of those around him.
In addition to his dedication to his career and family, Paul enjoyed fishing with his brothers and friends at Wessagussett Beach, Web Park, and the Hull Gut. He delighted in yard work and was proud of growing the largest cucumbers around. As a member of the Weymouth Elks, he actively participated in their golf tournaments and other leagues, where his passionate spirit resonated with fellow members.
His legacy of kindness, dedication, and love for teaching will continue to inspire others long after his departure. Whether through his work, friendships or family connections, Paul made a lasting impact on everyone around him.
