Patty Mcnamara

McNamara, Patty of Quincy, died  December 4, 2014.

Patty was a graduate of St. Elizabeth’s and Northeastern University where she received her BSN. She worked for 31 years as a nurse at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was an extremely smart, dedicated, and hard working person. She loved being adventurous and traveling all over, one of her favorite destinations was Disney World. She enjoyed watching the Amazing Race and was a devoted Catholic. Her family was most important to her, as well as her love for dogs. She had a passion for life and will be greatly missed by all of those that knew her.

Daughter of the late James and Elizabeth McNamara. Loving sister of James G. McNamara of Quincy, Thomas J. McNamara and his wife Mary of Weymouth, Joseph P. McNamara and his wife Lucy of Westwood, Ann F. Muise and her late husband Gary of Sharon, and Elizabeth “Liz'” McDonald and her husband Paul of Norwood. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her beloved Boxers Cody and Sammi. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
