Patrick T. Walsh

Walsh, Patrick T. “Big Pat” of Weymouth, died July 26, 2016.

Pat spent the majority of his life in Dorchester, later moving to Weymouth. Pat was a Vietnam Era War Veteran who served in The Army and earned an Associates Degree at Boston University. For over 20 years Pat worked for the U.S. Postal Service. An avid football and sports fan, Pat also enjoyed trips to the casino, books, and most importantly the time he spent with his grandchildren.

Beloved husband of the late Theresa I. Walsh. Cherished father of Patrick A. Walsh, George E. Walsh and Catherine M. Scott and her husband Charles; all of Dorchester.  Loving son of the late Timothy and Mary Walsh. Treasured Grandpa of Jasmine, Jackson, Jayauna, Charles “CJ” and Alayna. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Marks Church, Dorchester at 10:30 AM.  Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.  Donations in memory of Pat may be made to American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Hwy, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
