Patrick V. Morgan

 Patrick V. Morgan of North Quincy, formerly of South Boston passed away suddenly on January 3, 2025.

 He was born on April 9, 1955 to Joan (Blanchard) and the late Paul “Tiny” Morgan both of South Boston. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Determan) Morgan of Quincy, his daughter Catherine Sestito and her husband Antonio of Middleboro, his daughter Paula DiTocco, her husband James, and their son Vincent of Braintree. He is also survived by his siblings Pauline of Mansfield, Joanie, Teresa, and Valerie of Quincy, William and his wife Heather of North Carolina, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins including Paul DeBeneditto and Joseph Bracken both of Quincy.

Patrick enjoyed the simple things in life, including spending long warm summer days at the pond, being grillmaster extraordinaire at family bbqs, and hosting his favorite holiday Christmas Eve at his home. Pat loved playing handball, and spent years at the L. St. bathhouse and would win several awards in tournaments throughout the years. He was a trustworthy person and friend. He would do anything he could for anyone. Pat was a 1979 graduate of Mass Maritime Academy and spent a few years working on ships, and then utilized his talents in a lengthy career in the construction trade. Pat was best as his own boss with tools in hand, a hard worker who loved construction and building things with his hands, especially building homes for his wife, daughters, sisters and mother, and best friend Bill, and working on many other projects especially for friends and family. He and his team built many structures that will forever display his trademark perfectionism. Pat was a man who enjoyed the simple, good things in life, and lived with no regrets! He is loved and missed more than words by his family and friends. Until we meet again, we love you!

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday January 9th from 4-8PM at the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. Quincy, MA. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 10th, at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 386 Hancock St, North Quincy, MA 02171.
