Patrick M. Thompson

Patrick M. Thompson of Rockland, died July 25, 2017.

Pat grew up in South Boston and later lived in both Weymouth and Marshfield. He proudly served in the U.S. Army before leading a successful career in retail food service with both Universal Foods and Siegel Egg. He was the past president of the MA Retail Bakers Association, a member of the Scituate Senior Softball League and also enjoyed bowling and golf. Pat could often be found listening to Irish music, playing keno and doting on his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Anne Marie (Flaherty) Thompson of Rockland. Devoted father of Robert P. Thompson of Weymouth and Annmarie Vozzella and her husband Dominic of Marshfield. Cherished Papa of Kayla, Cody, Conor, Kaitlyn, Kegan, Dominic, Derek and Erica. Loving brother of James Thompson of Weymouth, Joseph Thompson of Marshfield, William Thompson of Weymouth and the late John and Gerald Thompson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, Rockland at 9AM.

Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
