Patrick J. Flaherty

Flaherty, Patrick J. age 73 of Braintree, originally from the Aran Islands, Ireland died November 30, 2014. 

Pat is a retired member of the Laborers Local 223. He worked hard his entire life and enjoyed his retirement with traveling and taking many trips back home to Ireland. He would often go to daily mass and take walks along Wollaston Beach. His family was the most important to him. Pat will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Beloved husband of Mary (MacKinnon) Flaherty of Braintree. Devoted father of Patrick “PJ” Flaherty Jr. of Weymouth and Elizabeth Caldwell and her husband Ken of Braintree. Cherished brother of Maura Wilson of NH, Monica Conneely of Inishere, Ireland, the late John and Rev. Michael Flaherty and brother in law of Mairead Flaherty. Loving “Dado” of Caroline and Emily Caldwell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Braintree Cemetery.
