Patrick J. Conneeley Jr.

Conneeley, Patrick J., Jr. of Quincy, formerly of Furrymelia West, Barna, Co. Galway, Ireland, died June 22, 2015.

Patrick worked for Boston Gas for 43 years as a pipe fitter and a supervisor. He enjoyed landscaping, gardening, the ocean, and politics; especially Fox News. Patrick would travel back to Ireland to visit as often as he could and loved listening to Irish music. He was a quiet and reserved man who adored his family, especially being “Papa” and “Dado” to his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Beloved husband of Barbara (McDonagh) Conneeley of Quincy. Cherished father of Barbara MacLellan of Milton, Kathleen and William McGrath of Weymouth, Patrick III and Jennifer Conneeley of Randolph, and Theresa Conneeley of Quincy. Adoring Papa to Stephen, Christopher, Michael, Maura, Brendan, Kerry and Dado to Patrick IV and Maya. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters from Ireland

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 9:30 – 10:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
