Patricia M. Perry

Perry, Patricia M. of Weymouth passed away after a brief illness on January 20, 2021. 

Born September 30, 1938, she was predeceased by her parents, Rene and Mary Perry and older siblings Alice (Perry) Fitzmaurice, Virginia, Bernadette, Genevieve, Robert, John and Thomas Perry. 

Patricia was born and raised in Dorchester attending St. Matthews elementary school and graduating from Dorchester High School, class of 1956. She first worked at the Howe and French company in Boston. After Patricia had moved to Weymouth in 1971, she began working in the Accounts Payable offices of South Shore Hospital where she remained until her retirement. Most recently Patricia was a resident of Allerton House in Weymouth. A devout Christian, Patricia was a long-time communicant and supporter of St. Albert the Great Parish in Weymouth. 

She is survived by her sister Mary Lou (Perry) Marquis and nephew David Marquis of S. Weymouth as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and nurses of South Shore Hospital’s Covid-19 ward for their unwavering support and compassion. 

Close friends and family will gather for a Funeral Mass to be held at St. Francis Xavier Church on Monday, February 1st, 2021 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow in Blue Hill Cemetery. 

Donations in memory of Patricia may be made to the ARC of the South Shore, 20 Pond Park, Hingham, MA 02043.

Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. Although some may not be able to gather together with Patricia’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message.
