Patricia M. Kiely

Kiely, Patricia M. (Flynn), died suddenly May 17, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John F. Kiely, Sr., and loving mother to Janice, Jack and his wife Maureen, Robert and his wife Cynthia, Donald, Joann and her husband Tom, all of Weymouth, and Brian and his wife Diane of East Bridgewater. Adored “Nana Pat” to 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Pat was predeceased by her sisters Ruth and Catherine and brothers William, Paul, and John.

Born and raised in South Boston to Catherine (Kelly) and Patrick Flynn. After graduating from South Boston High School, she worked for Gillette until meeting her husband at “Park Street Under”. Once married, they settled in Weymouth to raise the “Kiely Bunch”. Pat’s interests always included food, fun, and family and she will be sorely missed by all that knew her, including her many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Past member of the Wessagussett Yacht Club, the Castle Island Association, and the Naughty Needlers at Weymouth Senior Center. Pat was a gifted crocheter and those that were lucky enough, treasure “Nana’s Nifted Knitted Ninnies”, baby sweaters, and hats.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the incredible caring and kind staff at Sunrise Assisted Living and Old Colony Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Patricia’s name can be made to: Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
