Patricia J. Connolly

The family of Patricia J. Connolly of Carver, Ma is saddened to announce her passing on October 15th, 2021

Pat is the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Rita Connolly (Black). She is the loving sister of Nancy Ryan of Carver, Ma and Maureen Connolly of Naples, Florida. Pat was also a special person in the life of her Goddaughter and extended family as well as her many friends. 

Pat was OFD (Originally from Dorchester) and graduated from Monsignor Ryan Memorial and attended Boston Business School. She went on to work at several companies as a payroll analyst until her retirement in 2015 from the University of Massachusetts. Pat had many interests and was an avid reader. She had quite the green thumb and enjoyed tending her flowers. Pat loved traveling particularly to Martha’s Vineyard, Marco Island and Naples Florida and Hilton Head. Pat also spent many weekends in New York City enjoying the theater and loved her “spa” getaways for a little pampering. She relished having dinner and the occasional martini with her family and friends talking and enjoying their company.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Gilman Chapel at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 920 Adams St.,Dorchester, Ma on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 10:45  A.M. followed by a graveside service.

Contributions in memory of Pat can be made to Brigham and Women’s Hospital to support cancer research and progressive treatments.

Pat was well loved and will be deeply missed by her sisters, her many friends and all who knew her.
