Patricia “Gail” Keaney

Keaney, Patricia “Gail” (Datow) of Weymouth, passed away December 19, 2015 surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Keaney. Loving mother of Stephen S. Keaney and his wife, Diana, of Groton, Lauren J. Keaney of Randolph, Patricia A. Keaney Garcia and her husband, Manuel, of Bridgewater, and Michael P. Keaney and his spouse, William Spencer, of Colorado. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and many loving nieces and nephews.   

Gail worked for many years at Grossman’s Bargain Outlet in Braintree.  She had a passion for dancing with her dear friends, The Whipplettes, from the Whipple Center.  She enjoyed knitting, sewing and reading.  She loved spending time with her family and friends, but especially cherished and was devoted to her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home for visitation at 9:00 AM on Tuesday in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.) prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30AM. Burial will follow in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gail’s memory to either The Home for Little Wanderers, Development Department, 10 Guest Street, Boston, MA 02135 or a charity of your choice.
