Patricia E. Sutherland

Sutherland, Patricia E. (Travers) of Quincy, died September 24, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Patricia was born, raised, and educated in Boston. She met her husband Paul, who died many years ago, and married him in 1954. Patricia and Paul settled in Dorchester after marriage to raise a family in the home that would soon host many Sunday dinners compliments of Patricia. Patricia had an infectious laugh and a great sense of humor. She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by many. 

Patricia was predeceased by her loving husband Paul and her parents James and Margaret Travers. Loving mother to Patricia MacKinnon and her husband Joseph of Quincy, Paul R. Sutherland and his wife Nancy of Bridgewater, cherished grandmother to Christopher Mackinnon and his wife Kelly of Arizona, Erin Sutherland of Bridgewater, and Allison Sutherland of Bridgewater. Devoted sister to the late James Travers, Mary Vieno, and Margaret Smith and a loving aunt to many neices and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
