Patricia A. Gerbrands

Gerbrands, Patricia A. (Hausen) “Tootsie” of Abington, passed peacefully October 19, 2023 with her daughter’s by her side at the age of 85.

Patricia worked as a waitress at Vin and Eddie’s Restaurant in Abington for many years. She enjoyed golfing, the ocean and spending time on Cape Cod. She resided in Daytona Beach, FL by the Sea for over 20 years. She loved cooking, eating, shopping (especially for pocket books); and lunching with her good friends Winnie and Ruthie. She will be remembered for her loving and generous spirit.

She was the wife of the late Louis Buote, Michael Saraceno and Richard Gerbrand. Loving mother of Cynthia Donlan and her husband Mark of NC; Sharon Falcone and her husband Doug Sherman of Carver; the late James Buote and his wife Leigh of OH; the late Joseph Buote of Abington; and the late Kevin Buote and his wife Gail of Plymouth. Sister of the late Virginia Willis; Gracie Pratt and her late husband William; the late Sonny Hausenfluck; and the late William Hausen and his wife Arlene. “Grammy Pat/Mimi” to 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews including her special niece Bonnie Pepe.

Visiting hours Thursday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 1:30 PM in the funeral home. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
