Patricia A. Mitchell

Mitchell, Patricia A. (Dempsey) “Patsy” of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died September 14, 2018.

Patricia’s life was focused solely around her family.  She enjoyed walks with her husband to Wollaston Beach and taking in the waterfront at Marina Bay and Nantasket Beach.  She had an artistic gift and created beautiful blankets for many family members and friends, especially after the birth of a baby.  Her knitting, crochet, and arts & crafts skills were legendary.  Patricia also like to have fun and took several trips to Las Vegas, the Caribbean, and Aruba.  She was always the first one on, and last one off, the dance floor at many family celebrations.  She will be remembered for her outgoing and charming personality along with her feisty spirit.

Beloved wife of David E. Mitchell of Quincy.  Loving mother of Deborah Ragosta and her husband Edward of RI, David B. Mitchell and his companion Elizabeth Norcross of MS, and Paul Mitchell and his wife Kelly of Halifax.  Sister of the late John Dempsey, Frederick Dempsey, Marie Dare, Claire Proctor, and Eleanor Fogarty.  Also survived by 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
