Patricia A. Fine

Patricia (Bresnahan) Fine of Snohomish, WA, formerly of Boynton Beach, FL and Weymouth, MA, passed away on June 9, 2022 at the age of 82.

Proud and loving mother of Patti Upton and her husband Jim, son Richard Walsh, son William (Guy) Walsh and his wife Diane, daughter Gayle Bresnahan, son Glenn Bresnahan and his wife Helena.  Sister of the late Betts Trainor, Billy Cheney, Skip Cheney and Carole Crooker.  Beloved Nana to grandchildren Kira, Meghan, Matthew, Danielle, Riley, Andrew, Robbie and Reagan and GiGi to great-grandchildren Alani, Paige, Payton, Aubrey, Camila and Noah.  Her grandchildren were everything to her and she often referred to them as “my heart.”  Patricia is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and life-long friends.

Patricia was born in Boston, resided in Weymouth for many years and moved to Florida where she lived for almost 40 years.  She spent the last two years in Washington state living with her daughter Patti.  Patricia enjoyed music, games and staying connected with family and friends through social media.  She was present for many family milestones including weddings, graduations and the births of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  A lifelong friend and fan of Patti Page, she enjoyed watching her videos, listening to her music and browsing through photos and memorabilia.

She will be fondly remembered for her fierce love of family and natural ability to make everyone she knew or met feel welcome and loved (Put the kettle on!).  Mom certainly earned her wings and we know she is somewhere in Heaven, happily playing cribbage or Yahtzee or completing a puzzle while patiently waiting for Patti Page’s next concert, where you will find her in the front row!

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday July 14, 2022 from 4-8 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, South Weymouth.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday July 15, 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Nativity (Episcopal), 8 Nevin Road, South Weymouth.  Followed by Interment at Fairmount Cemetery, 168 Cedar Street, East Weymouth.

Following interment, friends and family are invited to a Bereavement Reception with food, drinks, music, love and laughter from 1-5 PM at the Weymouth Eagles Hall, 1338 Washington Street, East Weymouth.
