Drew, Patricia A. of Quincy, formerly of Allston, passed away October 21, 2009. Daughter of the late Herbert and Ellen Drew. Loving sister of Richard J. & wife Alice Drew of Newtonville, David G. & wife Evelyn R. Drew of Abington and the late Herbert A. Drew, Jr. Devoted aunt of Terese A. Drew of St. Louis, MO, Julie Miller of Chester, PA, Michael J. Drew of Plymouth, NH, Christine M. Werner of Simsbury, CT, Stephen R. Drew of Coralville, IA, William T. Drew of Hinesburg, VT, John C. Drew of Chelmsford, Tracy E. Marini of Pembroke, Geoffrey A. Drew of Kennebunkport, ME, Frank R. Drew of Abington, Ellen I. Claflin of Pembroke, and Timothy D. Drew of Abington. Also survived by many grand nieces and nephews. Patricia was a teacher for the Quincy School System for 43 years, earning the level of “Master” Teacher. She began her career at the Gridley Bryant School and later, worked at Merrymount School, School Headquarters, and Central Junior High. An active parishioner of St. Ann’s Church, Patricia taught CCD and served as an Eucharistic Minister. After retirement, she was active with the Quincy Retired Teacher’s Association. She had a special place in her heart for her many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home 9:15 AM on Monday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church at 10 AM. Burial at a later date.
