Patricia A. Coronite

Patricia A. (McKeon) Coronite, originally of Dorchester, and a long time Hingham resident, died in Rotonda West, FL on February 5, 2022.  The beloved wife of the late Frank A. Coronite, and sister of the late Joseph McKeon. Loving mother of Diane Coronite, Susan Coronite, Thomas Coronite and his wife Trish, Denise Mayer and her husband Joey, and Mark Coronite and his wife Regina. Cherished Grandmother of Matthew, Brian, Christopher, and Michael.

Patty attended St. Anne’s school in Dorchester, and as young woman, worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. She and Frank were married in 1954 and moved to Hingham in 1957. There is where they raised their five children.

Pat loved living by the water, where she enjoyed boating and trips to the beach for sunbathing and swimming. With a limitless love for music and ballroom dancing, she was on the dance floor with her family and friends every chance she had. As the life of the party, she brought so much joy and laughter to everyone around her.

She was an active member at St. Paul’s Parish for many years including being a PTA mother, a Eucharistic minister, and a coordinator of the monthly widows’/widowers’ brunches. Pat’s community support was noticeable as a member of the Hingham Village Association and volunteering much of her time to the Hingham Senior Center, to residents of the Harbor House, and with functions at the Hersey House.

She was an inspiration to all her family and friends. Patricia will be missed by many.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on February 28, Monday from 4-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM.

Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM in Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, Hingham.

Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patricia may be made to the Hingham Senior Center 224 Central Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
