Patricia A. Carroll

Carroll, Patricia (Barry) of Quincy and Wells, ME, died on June 7, 2014 at her home after a long illness, she was 72.

The beloved wife of  Leonard Carroll of Quincy. Devoted mother of  Bryan Carroll and his wife Carolyn of Quincy and Timothy Carroll and his wife Ceara of Acton. Sister of Joseph Barry of Rockland and the late Barbara Donahue. Grandmother of Samantha Carroll and Christian Ventresca. Stepmother of John Carroll of Gardner, Robin Tyo of RI, Steven Carroll of CA and Jeff Carroll of Franklin. Sister in law of Uarda Barry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A lifelong Quincy resident, Patricia graduated from Quincy High School Class  of 1959. She worked for Verizon Communications for 36 years. She also worked at Quincy High School as a teachers aid. Patricia was a member of the Telephone Pioneers Club and a member of IBEW Local 222. She enjoyed traveling, visiting many countries such as Ireland, Bermuda, the Caribbean, Hawaii, Florida and Cape Cod. She enjoyed visiting the western part of the US as well. Patricia loved animals of all kinds, she was especially fond of the pets adopted from the animal shelters in the area. Her cat “Pedro” of 18 years  will her also miss her. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
