Peter Paul Roman

Peter Paul Roman, age 77, of Weymouth, Massachusetts passed away at South Shore Hospital on December 20, 2017 following a long struggle with cancer.  He was the devoted husband of Geraldine (Cullen) Roman for 53 years.

Born and raised in East Braintree, MA, he was the son of the late Evelyn and James Hallahan.  Peter attended school in Braintree, MA and was a member of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1964.  He started his career at Walworth’s in Braintree, MA and worked in maintenance in several area apartment complexes.

Peter enjoyed bowling, playing cribbage, watching baseball and football on TV, maintaining his house and yard, the music of Elvis Presley, and dancing to rock and roll music.  But, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Geraldine of Weymouth, MA, daughter Christine and her husband James Canty of Taunton, MA, daughter Claire and her husband Richard Walsh of Holbrook, and his beloved grandchildren Elizabeth Canty and husband Luke Hough of Huntsville, AL, Allison Canty of Hamden, CT, Sarah Walsh and David Walsh of Holbrook, MA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Thursday from 12 – 1 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street), followed by his Funeral Service at 1 PM.
