Pasquale “Patsy” Pasqualone

Pasqualone, Pasquale “Patsy” of Quincy, originally Prezza, Italy, died April 11, 2023.  

Patsy was born in Italy and moved to Venezuela, where he lived for 4 years before coming to settle in Quincy. He taught himself how to speak English and Spanish, on top of his native Italian. He was a member of Local 133 for 66 years and worked for Barr & Barr Construction for over 30 years, often working at New England Medical Center (now Tufts). He adored his family and his motto was “be happy”. Patsy enjoyed gardening and tending to his tomatoes, going out to eat, and traveling, especially back to Italy to visit his family. He also was an avid reader and WWII history buff. He was social and made an impression anywhere he went, many calling him “Papa” over the years. He was a kind hearted man who had a gentle soul and would drop anything to help you and will be greatly missed. 

Son of the late Sabatino and Agata (DiMeo) Pasqualone. Beloved husband of the late Margherita (Spadorcia) Pasqualone. Loving father of Agatha Smith and her husband Artie of Weymouth and Rita Pasqualone of Quincy. Cherished brother of the late Domenico Pasqualone and his surviving wife Maria. Devoted Nonno of Cody and Matthew Smith. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A funeral home service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Patsy may be made to Norwell Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
