Pamela Caroline Kane

Pamela Caroline (Holder) Kane, 92, a long-time resident of North Weymouth, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on April 29, 2024.

Pam was born in Cheltenham, England December 31,1931. She was a single working mother with a young son when she met her soon to be husband Thomas Joseph Kane Jr., an American WWll veteran, at a Cheltenham town hall dance. Pam loved flowers, gardening, walking, the beach, shopping, reading, baking and mostly spending time with her family. Having lived through the Blitzkrieg, and widowed young, life was not easy, but with her beautiful smile, style and grace, you would not know it. Mum was the light of her family’s life, and loved them all unconditionally, with never a bad word for anyone. Nana Pam made her delicious carrot cake with love for every family event.

Pamela was a homemaker and cherished wife of 15 years to the late Thomas Joseph Kane Jr. of North Weymouth. Devoted mother to the 7 P’s - Paul Kane, Pamela Kane, Portia Kane Montanez, Patrice (Kane) Woods, Patrick Kane, Penny Kane, and Peter Kane, of MA. Beloved Nana to 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Although living far from her family in England, Pam thought of them dearly and spoke of them often. She was the daughter of the late Dolly Evelina (Dadge) Winter of Ilford, Essex, England and the late Frederick William Holder of Triggs, Perth, Western Australia.

A Celebration of Life will be held privately by immediate family.
