Torpey, Pamela J. (Scofield) of Hingham, formerly of Plymouth & Malden, August 5, 2006 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved wife of William J. Torpey, Jr. Loving mother of Erin S. Torpey of Cambridge and Matthew M. Torpey of Hingham. Loving daughter of Alice E. Scofield of Needham and the late Lawrence F. Scofield. Sister of Lawrence F. Scofield, Jr. of Winchester, Deborah A. Hennessey of Westwood and Janet E. Lezberg of Needham. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Friday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4 – 8 PM. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Pamela may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 55584, Boston, MA 02205-5584. Pamela grew up in Malden. She has lived in Hingham for the last 18 years and previously lived in Plymouth for 12 years. She enjoyed skiing, gardening and travel. Most of all, she loved and devoted her life to her family.
