Pamela Cadigan

Cadigan, Pamela (Hopey) of Hingham, passed away March 4, 2011, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness. Beloved wife of Edward Cadigan of Hingham. Loving mother of Ryan Cadigan, Julie Cadigan, both of Boston and Patrick Cadigan of Hingham. Sister of John Hopey, Mark Hopey, both of Weymouth, Robin Griffin of FL, and Amy Shea of Hull. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pamela’s life revolved around her loving family. She was the epitome of a devoted wife, mother, sister and best friend. Being a pediatric registered nurse was her other passion. Pam was educated and trained at Children’s Hospital in Boston and worked there for many years, followed by the Neponset Health Center and the past seven years at Hanover Pediatrics. Her interests included reading, crochet, gardening, house hunting, and travel. She will be remembered for her generosity, selflessness, and capacity for love. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 11 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
