Pacita V. Vinoya

Pacita Vinoya of Boston, passed away surrounded by her loving family on December 14th 2023.

Pacita, the daughter of the late Pedro & Nicolasa Valdez, was raised in Umingan, Pangasinan, Philippines.

Pacita enjoyed dress making and applied her skills as a seamstress until she migrated to America where she settled with her husband and children in Boston. She went on to work with bridal gown designers at the House of Bianchi until her retirement. 

Pacita was devoted to her family and friends. She loved large get togethers with generations of her family, living long enough to see her great-grandchildren. She loved singing and dancing during these gatherings. 

Beloved wife of the late Francisco Sibayan Vinoya. Loving mother of Wilbert Vinoya and his wife, Shirley of Brockton, and grandmother to their children Peter, Regie, Francis, Hazel, and her husband, Christian, and great-grandmother to their children IvyRose and CJ; Villaflor Galingan and her husband, Rowel, of Boston, and grandmother to their son Gabriel; Rolando Vinoya and his wife, Marcela, of Groton, Connecticut, and grandmother to their children Christopher and Crystal, and great-grandmother to her son Kai; Vicky Villanueva and her husband, Nido, of Braintree, and grandmother to their sons Joshua and Daryl; Marie Delgado and her husband, Gerry, of Boston, and grandmother to their late daughter Gemmalyn, may she rest in peace; and Noeme Basto and her husband,Joseph, of Westwood, and grandmother to their children Myleia, Maia, and Maximus.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday Dec. 21, from  4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
