Ona Eitas

Eitas, Ona (Urbutis) of East Wareham, passed away on July 14, 2011, she was 88. The beloved wife of the late Edward T. Eitas. Loving mother of Louis Eitas and his wife Annmarie of Marshfield and Vytautas Eitas and his wife Judith of Wareham . Cherished grandmother of Jonathan Eitas and Kristina Berian both of Marshfield, Gregory Eitas of Wareham and Timothy Eitas of Chapel Hill, NC. Great grandmother of Emma Eitas and Benjamin & Jacob Berian. Ona was born and raised in Kretinga, Lithuania. In 1949 she moved to South Boston where she raised her family. In 1979 she moved to Wareham where she spent the last several years. The essence of her life was her family. Their lives were rich with family love and tradition, which would later become the foundation for all that was important to her. Ona enjoyed gardening, cooking and took great pride in caring for her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:15 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy, at 10am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
