Ollga (Progri) Taho

Ollga (Progri) Taho, age 100 – passed away peacefully at her home in Quincy on Nov. 1, 2021. Ollga was born on August 15, 1921 in Korce, Albania. She lived for many years in Albania before moving to Quincy. Ollga was the daughter of the late Spiro and Viqi Progri. In 1948 Ollga became a lab technician and transferred to Bilisht , when she met her husband Shaban. They married on February 4, 1953. She was blessed with 60 years of marriage to her beloved late husband Shaban Taho.  The beloved mother to Ermelina Prifti and her husband Lefter Prifti of Quincy. Loving grandmother to Joanna Boylan and her husband Dean Boylan of Winchester and Tina Prifti of Newport RI. Loving great grandmother to Blake and Henry Boylan.  The beloved sister Ella Gurri of Germany and the late Luan Gurri. Twin sister to the late Stavri Progri and her sister Sofika Progri. Sister in law of Zalo & Nebahet Taho of Albania. Loving aunt of Adelina Progri and Gema Guri  both of Germany and Stephanaq & Zana Polena  Violeto Shkembi, Donika, Robert, Arben, Yll of Albaniai and the late Gjerqji.

Ollga had the most welcoming smile and gift to always make you feel special. She grew many meaningful friendships through her years. She loved indoor flowers, dancing, going for rides on her husband’s motorcycle on a sunny Sunday at the lake. Her favorite pastimes included, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her friends. She enjoyed arranging furniture around her home. Family was the center of her life, they were what was most important to her. Ollga will be sadly missed. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea St. (off Rt. 3A-Bicknell Sq.), Weymouth. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
