Oliver J. Basiliere

Basiliere, Oliver J. of Hingham, February 11, 2007. Beloved husband of Sophie Spartos Basiliere of Hingham and the late Rose (Lombardo) Basiliere. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald Street, Hingham, Friday at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. Donations in memory of Mr. Basiliere may be made to Hingham Son’s of Italy, 88 Chief Justice Cushing Hwy, Hingham, MA 02043. Oliver’s family gave him the most enjoyment in his life. He was the luckiest man in the world for meeting his two wives. He felt truly blessed. Oliver was very involved in the Hingham Son’s of Italy. He held many positions over the years including Board of Director and President. He participated in all their functions and activities. He worked for many years as a Master Plumber in the Hingham area prior to working at the Hingham Shipyard & Marina. Oliver was very proud of his service to his country where he served in the United States Navy. Mr. Basiliere was a great dancer, fisherman, golfer and he enjoyed traveling. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
