Olive F. Quinn

Quinn, Olive F. (Kenney) of Quincy, formerly of South Boston and Dorchester, died on August 29, 2010. She was 85. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Quinn. Devoted mother of Ann Quinn of Quincy and Tom Quinn and his late wife Raquel of Hyde Park. Loving sister of the late Alice Lastoria, Henry Joseph Kenney and June Lukkarinen. Cherished Gramma of Haley and Frances Quinn. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Olive grew up in Dorchester, later moving to South Boston. She has been a Quincy resident for many years now. She worked as a cashier for 14 years at Purity Supreme, retiring in 1984. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family. She will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday 4 – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Friday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
