Dawe, Olga (DeNicola) of Norwell, formerly of Quincy, passed away on October 3, 2010 at the age of 96. She was the wife of the late Hugh E. Dawe. Devoted mother of Theodore G. “Ted” Dawe of Norwell and the late Denice E. Guanci of Maui, Hawaii. Olga was the last of her ten siblings who were first generation Italian Americans: Nancy Cicerone, Ada Coppola, Gilda Sacco, Amelia Broadford, Luigi, Adolph, Romulus, Remo, and Ferdinand “Pete”. Olga was also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Olga enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, flowers, crocheting, knitting, bowling and bingo. She cherished her role as a mother and devoted wife. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY . A final viewing will be held at 8:45 AM on Saturday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Helen’s Church, 383 Washington St., Norwell at 10 AM. Burial will be in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. A Celebration of Life will be held after the burial service at 12:00PM in St. Helen’s Church Hall located behind St. Helen’s Church and all are welcome to attend.
