Nuala Mclaughlin

McLaughlin, Nuala (Carlin) of Hingham, formerly of Ireland, died July 28, 2013. 

Nuala loved her family and they were the central focus of her life.  She was a member of the PTA for her children in Hingham Public Schools.  Nuala was appointed by Governor Michael Dukakis to serve on the Architectural Access Board.  This group advocated for better accessibility to public spaces and buildings in the Commonwealth.  She will be remembered for her pleasant ways, persistent nature for the things she believed in, and her friendly manner to all. 

Beloved wife of Liam McLaughlin of Hingham.  Loving mother of Conor McLaughlin and his wife Cory of NY, and Megan McLaughlin of Gloucester.  Sister of Margaret Tierney of Ireland, Angela Doran of England, and the late Maureen (Carlin).  Cherished grandmother of Lauren and Ryan McLaughlin.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews in Ireland, England, Canada and the U.S.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 11 AM.  Cremation will follow.
