Reimers, Norman W. of Quincy, June 12, 2004. The Beloved Husband of Muriel “Mim” (Cox) Reimers. Loving Father of Carol Ann Cummins and her husband Ted of Abington, Stephen E. Peterson of Quincy and Susan M. Ginty and her companion Melissa Angel of Abington. Brother of Barbara Cullen of Baldwinville,MA and Martin Reimers of CA. Dear Friend of Patrick Nevins and Patrick Ginty. Grandfather of Josh Lucas, Amanda Cummins, Scott & Kristen Peterson and Kaitlin, Brianne and Abigail Ginty. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in St. Boniface Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Norm was a member of the North Quincy Knights of Columbus # 2259. He served in the United States Airforce from 1947 until 1953. He worked at Boston Feed Company in Boston , and then worked for James River Paper Distribution in Hyde Park as a shipping Manager before taking a position at the National Fire Prevention as a shipping manager here in Quincy where he worked for 15 years retiring back in 1997. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Norman may be made to The Old Colony Hospice, 14 Page Terrace Stoughton, MA 02072 or to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation, 710 West 168th Street, New York, NY 10032. United States Airforce Veteran.
