Norman J. Pepin of Quincy, died on August 2, 2018 at the age of 85, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Boston, on November 10, 1932 to the late Albert and Alice Pepin (Robert) of Florida. Caring brother of the late Arthur and Robert Pepin of Michigan.

Loving husband of Barbara Pepin (Hayward) of Quincy. Beloved father of Janice Lapre of South Boston, Diane Setordepour of Florida, Norman P. Pepin of Wisconsin, Sandra Mello of Pembroke, Stephen Pepin of New Hampshire, Richard Pepin of Florida, Doreen Weidman of New Hampshire and Laurie Pepin of Bridgewater. Cherished Grandfather of 30 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Norman proudly served in the National Guard at the young age of 13. He played football for the Crimson Bears in Dorchester, which caught the eye of his beloved Barbara. He worked as a welder and was also a crafted steamfitter for many years. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and followed every game with his family. Norman was a devout Catholic and follower of St. Michael’s World Apostolate and would often visit Bayside Pilgrimage in New York. He spoke fluent French and had an amazing sense of humor. Norman’s main passion in life was his family and spending time with those he loved, especially over a nice meal. His favorite places to dine were the 99 Restaurant and the Olive Garden. He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Parish Church, 757 Hancock St., Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Norman may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
