Norman F. Donovan

Donovan, Norman F. of Quincy died at home suddenly January 24, 2008. The beloved husband of Mary A. (Tompkins). Loving father of Brian P. Donovan and his wife Charlotte and William R. Donovan, all of Braintree. Also lovingly survived by 4 grandchildren: Brian, Samantha, Caitlyn and Collin; and many nieces & nephews. Mr. Donovan was born in Boston and graduated from Commerce High School in Boston. He worked in the greater Boston area for Boston Edison for 40 years,retiring in 1990. His enjoyments in life included his 53 years of marriage, coaching his young sons in baseball, being a scout master, membership in Local 369 and the Legion of Mary in St Ann’s Church. He was also an avid fan of the Patriots and Red Sox. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6 PM. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
