Norma J. Snowdale

Snowdale, Norma J. (Carey) of Weymouth, passed away on June 27, 2024. She was 78.

Born in Boston in 1946, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Doris (Farrington) Carey.

She had a natural flair for making others laugh, Norma’s funny little sayings were a source of constant amusement for all who knew her. She had a knack for finding humor in the everyday. Norma found happiness amongst her cherished friends, laughing and sharing life’s moments.

A master in the kitchen, Norma’s culinary skills were legendary, and she generously shared her recipes with her daughter-in-law, Donna, ensuring that her culinary legacy would live on. Her love for the soap opera “Days of Our Lives”was matched only by her enthusiasm for celebrating life’s milestones and holidays, with Christmas holding a special place in her heart.

Norma was truly the life of the party, and her joy was most palpable during the family trips to Misty Harbor in New Hampshire, which remained a cherished memory for all. Her love story with her husband, Wayne, began in 1979, and together they shared countless moments of love and laughter.

Norma’s love for her dog Bella and the New England Patriots were all part of the unique tapestry that made her the unforgettable character she was. Norma Snowdale will be deeply missed, but her vibrant spirit will continue to inspire and bring smiles to the faces of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
