Norma M. Boren

Norma M. (Miles) Boren, of Weymouth, died November 1, 2015. Norma was raised and educated in Dorchester, graduating from St. Gregory’s High School, class of 1937. She has lived in Weymouth for 63 years. In her early years, Norma worked as a machine operator for the IRS. She was an active parishioner of St. Jerome’s Church and was involved in the Women’s Guild, Ladies Sodality and Altar Society. She also enjoyed knitting and watching the Red Sox. Norma’s family was the foundation of all that was important to her. She will be sadly missed.

Beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Boren, Sr. Devoted mother of Anne Murray and her husband Richard of Rockland and the late Anthony J. Boren, Jr. Cherished “Gramma” of Stephanie Murray Henry and her husband Bob, Eileen Murray Moody and her husband Will and great-grandchildren Meghan and Jacob. Loving sister of the late Claire Seaboyer and David H. Miles. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) 

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome’s Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
