Nora T. Sullivan (Carney), 93, of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died peacefully in the presence of her family on February 7, 2015 after a long illness.
Beloved wife of the late Eugene F. Sullivan. Loving mother of Thomas E. and his wife Susan of Quincy, the late Kevin J. and his wife Nevia of Richmond, VA, Eugene M. (Geno) and his wife Barbara of Halifax, MA, Ellen M. and her husband David Joy of Billerica and Stephen D. and his wife Priscilla of Cohasset, MA. Also survived by her adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jennifer Jae and her husband Augustine (Gus) of Toronto, ON and Gabriel and Joshua, Thomas and his companion Tamara Smith of Quincy, Erin and her companion David Gorgos of Lindenwold, NJ, Heather of South Portland, ME, Jessica of North Attleboro and Jasmine, Matthew and his wife Mollee of Richmond, VA and Julie, Kim Hill and her husband Phil of Bend, OR and Benjamin, Owen and Henry, Mike Joy and his wife Desiree of Holland, MA and David and Aiden, Alyssa Joy of Billerica, Adrienne DiFonzo and her husband Matthew of Natick and Charlie, Kerry of Natick and Andrew and his wife Sara of South Boston and many nieces and nephews. Loving sister of Agnes Wisnes of Quincy and the late Thomas, John, Mary, Joseph and James Carney. Loving sister-in-law of Joan Carney of Milton and the dear cousin of Mary Leonard of Abington.
Graduate of St. William Grammar School, Savin Hill and Jeremiah E. Burke High School, Dorchester.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Wednesday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann Church, Wollaston at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy. Donations in memory of Nora may be made to Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Boston, 51 Sleeper St., Boston, MA 02110, the Alzheimer’s Association or to a charity of your choice.
