Kardoos, Nora H. (Matook) of Hull, formerly of South Boston, April 29, 2006. Wife of the late Albert Kardoos. Loving mother of Maryann Anastasio, Joseph Kardoos, both of Hanover, Thomas Kardoos of Hull and Norma Kardoos-Fuller of Randolph. Sister of the late Victoria Haddad, Alice Nashawaty, Tillie Hashway and Margaret Matook. Also lovingly survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Panagia Greek Orthodox Church, Cohasset at 10 AM. Visitation prior to Mass. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery. Mrs. Kardoos was the former owner of Al’s Spaghetti House in Hull with her husband Albert. She also worked as a seamstress for many years in Boston. She will be remembered as the “Neighborhood Mom”. She was very charitable and kind. She thrived by caring for others. Many loved her and felt comfortable around her. She will be greatly missed. Donations in memory of Mrs. Kardoos may be made to N.E. Home for Little Wanderers, 271 Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
